Outreach Awards for 2013-2014 Announced

Ranging from programs protecting water rights in San Luis Valley acequias to promoting equities through writing pedagogies, 39 projects received nearly $323,000 total in CU-Boulder Outreach Awards. CU-Boulder provides funding for outreach projects that extend faculty members' research, teaching, and creative work through mutually beneficial partnerships with external constituents.

The CU-Boulder Outreach Committee, comprised of faculty and community members across many disciplines, oversees the award process. Programs received competitive funding thanks to contributions from the Office of the Chancellor, Office of the Provost, and the Division of Continuing Education.
