Join the CU Boulder Outreach and Engagement Professionals Network (OEPN) for a workshop to explore ways to share your outreach and engagement work with faculty and staff from across the country.

This free workshop will be held on Thursday, Nov. 29 from 12–1:30 p.m. in the Flatirons Room in the Center for Community (C4C), and is designed for CU Boulder faculty and staff who do outreach and engagement work.

Many outreach and engagement professionals on campus manage innovative and inspiring community programs and there will be a unique opportunity to showcase that work at the Engagement Scholarship Consortium (ESC)’s national conference in 2019 in Denver.

The call for proposals for the ESC conference will be sent out soon, so this workshop will provide participants the chance to ask questions about proposal best practices, gain insight into how proposals are selected, brainstorm ways to get started on a proposal, and connect with other outreach and engagement professionals from across campus.

Ashley Stokes from Colorado State University, the 2019 ESC conference planner,  will also share information about the conference scheduled for October 6-9, 2019. ESC is a nonprofit organization composed of higher education member institutions that works to build and promote university-community partnerships.

Bring your own a lunch; beverages and desserts will be provided. RSVP by Nov. 21.

This event is hosted by the OEPN, which was established in 2014 to strengthen and increase visibility of campus outreach and engagement work.
