In partnership with local community programs and teachers, we will develop hands-on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) learning kits for distant, rural, and mountainous communities in Colorado. This initial pilot of program kits will inform CU Science Discovery‘s efforts to support educators and students in these underserved regions of Colorado.

These kits will include materials for STEM activities, research, projects, and/or lessons that can be reused and checked-out for borrowing by teachers in rural communities.
