Join us for the Colorado Classics Day on Saturday, 30th September, 2017, sponsored by the University of Colorado Boulder, Department of Classics and Outreach Committee with the Colorado Classics Association and the Colorado Junior Classical League.
In the morning, each participant is invited to join two sessions (choose from among the following: Life as a Gladiator, Greek in a Day, Write Like Achilles wrote!, Artifacts from the Ancient World (CU Art Museum), Decipher a Roman epitaph; Anatomy of a temple; Let’s speak Latin!). Over lunch (please bring your own!), participate in the Roman dress costume contest and chat with Boulder Classics faculty. In the afternoon, adults are invited to participate in the meeting of the Colorado Classics Association, while the younger can participate in Colorado Junior Classical League events or a session on Votive Vessels at the CU Art Museum.
On-site registration begins at 9:15 AM! Event will be held in Eaton Humanities and on Norlin Quad. HALE 270 will be a backup location in case of rain.
