The Engaged Arts and Humanities scholars is a cohort-based program of the CU Boulder Office for Outreach and Engagement. It helps graduate students apply the tools of the arts and humanities, and their unique interests, to community-engaged scholarship projects (research, teaching and/or creative work), and provides funding for this work. A key program goal is to develop a strong cohort and community of learners committed to equity-oriented community partnerships.

Students should have an interest in and ability to apply the tools from an arts and humanities discipline and their life experience to work with Colorado communities beyond the university. We encourage applicants with diverse perspectives and at varied stages of their development as community-engaged scholars, from new to experienced. Students receive a $1000 stipend to participate and up to $1000 for a community-engaged partnership project.  They will also have an opportunity to earn a micro-credential on Equity-Oriented Partnerships, as part of a collaboration with the CU Boulder Renée Crown Wellness Institute.
