The Office for Public and Community-Engaged Scholarship is pleased to announce our 2024-25 Tiers 3 and 4 grants (formerly named CU Boulder Outreach Awards).

Tiers 3 and 4 fund faculty-led public and community-engaged scholarship that connects research, teaching and creative work with public needs and interests. Proposed projects must connect CU Boulder scholarship with the expressed needs, interests or activities of external communities and be aligned with the campus definition of outreach and engagement. The selection process is guided by the Public and Community-Engaged Scholarship Grants Committee.

Based on the committee’s recommendations 26 projects are receiving a total of $421,356 this cycle. Funding is supporting projects from the College of Arts and Sciences, School of Education, College of Engineering, College of Music, College of Media, Communication and Information, Colorado Law, and interdisciplinary projects. Collectively the projects will engage more than 882 CU students, 23 faculty and staff members, 7857 Coloradans and 4574 people outside of Colorado.
