The Office for Public and Community-Engaged Scholarship (PACES) is pleased to announce our Fall 2024 Tier 2 grantees. Tier 2 grants support faculty, staff and graduate students with undertaking and implementing public and community-engaged scholarship projects. In the fall competition, PACES awarded nearly $40,000 to support an array of projects from diverse disciplines including environmental design, music, geography, education and theatre. More than 3,500 external community members stand to benefit from the collaborations. Several projects more closely connect CU Boulder with both urban and rural K-12 schools, providing programs to spark and sustain young people’s interest in the arts and humanities and applied and social sciences. Others address pressing issues related to our changing climate, both here in Colorado and beyond.
