Introducing the 2014-2015 CU-Boulder Outreach Awards

From solar-powered theatre to straw bale building research, 2014-2015 outreach awarded programs extend across disciplines and communities. This year, 35 programs were granted CU-Boulder Outreach Awards for projects that extend faculty members' research, teaching, and creative work through mutually beneficial partnerships with external constituents.

The CU-Boulder Outreach Committee, comprised of faculty and community members across many disciplines, oversees the award process. Programs received competitive funding thanks to contributions from the Office of the Chancellor, Office of the Provost, and the Division of Continuing Education.
