Ad Astra Academy Colorado is a weekend-long program immersing underserved middle- and high-school students in the excitement of space science and exploration. During these programs, students learn about the stars, planets, and cosmos through hands-on activities based on CU Boulder’s cutting-edge space research. Culminating in a capstone project, students will engage with a current space mission team or research project led by CU faculty and researchers. The goal is to nurture students’ natural curiosity to promote self-directed and inquiry-based learning, following the curriculum developed for the highly successful international Ad Astra Academy (http://adastra.world/).

This program is offered free of charge to participating K-12 schools, targeting grades 6-12. Ad Astra Academy Colorado is actively soliciting partner schools for this program. Please contact us for more information.
